How to install AvailSuite on Windows Vista?

When you working with AvailSuite at Windows Vista, it can display you a message about problems with connection to the database. Probably, this occurs due to default security settings of Windows Vista. To solve the problem, run AvailSuite as administrator. Run as Administrator is an action at Windows Vista available, for example, at its context menu when you right-clicking a program file.

In addition, you can use the Program Compatibility Wizard to change the privilege layer and compatibility settings for AvailSuite.

  • Open the Program Compatibility Wizard by clicking the Start|Control Panel|Programs, and then clicking Use an older program with this version of Windows.
  • Follow the instructions in the wizard.
