Return Orders are Orders with negative quantities of parts and services. AvailSuite allows creating pure return Orders (with negative or zero quantities) or pure direct Orders (with positive or zero quantities).

In AvailSuite, it is impossible to create an Order where some items are provided to the customer and others are returned. If you have such need, just create a couple of orders: one for sending and another for the return. AvailSuite provides the following functionality for return orders support:

How to create a return Order?

To create a return order, just set non-positive (negative or zero) quantities of order details.

How to receive a return Order?

To receive parts of a return order, you can use on of the following approaches:

• Click the Receive button on the order form;
• Click the Receive button on the context menu or the actions menu, when the order is selected in a grid.

How to receive an Order detail of a return Order?

• Using the Pending Receipts view in the Inventory group of the main form
• Using the Details grid of the order form
