AvailSuite is a software solution for managing a small or medium service business. It covers all critical activities of small companies, like customer and work order management, invoices and account receivables, employee scheduling, and task management.

Shipping Orders

AvailSuite supplies shipping parts assigned to Orders. The shipment means a tracking of a physical shipment parts to customers. When you make a shipment, AvailSuite checks if there is a lack of parts in stock. It notifies you in case of problems.

AvailSuite provides you the following options for convenient shipment:

How to ship an Order?

To ship parts of an order, you can use on of the following approaches:

  • Click the Ship button on the order form;
  • Click the Ship button on the context menu or the actions menu, when the order is selected in a grid.

How to ship an Order Detail?

You can ship parts of order details of a return order using on of the following approaches:

  • Using the Pending Shipment view in the Inventory group of the main form
  • Using the Detail grid of the order form

How to automatically ship Orders on completion?

In some cases, completion an order means shipping all its parts. AvailSuite allows you to follow this conception or ignore it. Use the Ship in full Orders on Completion option on the Inventory tab on the User Settings form to manage the options.

The options mean the following.

  • Always Ship AvailSuite will ship automatically all open parts of an order on its completion
  • Always Ask AvailSuite will ask about shipping all open parts of an order on its completion
  • Never Ship AvailSuite will not ship parts of an order on its completion
