You can print the Calendar and its content from any view, at any moment. Just click the printer icon on the toolbar
and, AvailSuite will print the currently displayed calendar.
You can define the Calendar Printing options on the Company Settings form and the System Options form. Here is a list of options provided by AvailSuite:
AvailSuite highlights the working time and working days on calendar printing in accordance with the employees or the companys working days and time settings. It uses the employees working time and day settings, if it prints the calendar for an employee. It uses the company working days and time settings, if it prints tasks not assigned to an employee.
Use the Company Settings form to define working time of the Company.
The Printing Time option defines the printing time range to be printed. Some companies perform all tasks from 9 AM to 5 PM. They do not need night hours to be included in printing. Others have tasks scheduled round the clock and would like to define the printing time range depending on printing tasks.
For example, if you do not need to see night and evening hours in calendar prints, set a time range for printing, using the Printing Time Options. For example, if you will set 9:00 AM as the Start Time and 5:00 PM as the Finish Time, AvailSuite will print calendar from 9 AM to 5 PM, even there could be tasks scheduled earlier or later.
If your schedule can contain tasks planned earlier than your Start Time setting or later than your End Time setting, and you would like to be sure them to be printed, set Use the earliest Start Time of tasks to print and Use the latest Start Time of tasks to print checkboxes.
Use the System Options form to define a time range used on the Calendar printing.
If you do not need to print non-working days on the Calendar printing, set the Skip Weekends checkbox.
The option will use working/non-working day settings of the employee when you print tasks for a specific employee. Use the employee detail form to check or modify the settings.
The option will use working/non-working day settings of the company displayed on the screenshot when it prints tasks not assigned to an employee.

AvailSuite uses printing time settings not working time settings as a time range for printing. AvailSuite does not remove tasks getting of out the printing time range. It just skips them on printing.
Consider the following situations.
A task is assigned to an employee. The start time scheduled for the task is earlier than the start time settings of the employee or the finish time scheduled for the task is latter than the finish time settings of the employee.
A task is not assigned to employees. The start time scheduled for the task is earlier than the start time settings of the company or the finish time scheduled for the task is latter than the finish time settings of the company.
For example, working time settings of an employee is 9:00 AM 5:00 PM. There is an all day task for the employee. How would you like to print it with the calendar?
AvailSuite provides two printing options for the case:
-
Print the task as it is defined in the task scheduled time (0:00 AM 0:00 AM of the next day, in our example).
-
Adjust the start time and the finish time of the task to the start time and the end time defined in working time settings of the employee (9:00 AM 5:00 PM, in our example). Please note that AvailSuite does not change the start time and the finish time of the task, it just display corrected the start time and the finish time on printing only.
Use the Adjust by Working Time checkbox to switch between options.
AvailSuite uses Option 1 (Print as is) when the checkbox is reset. AvailSuite uses Option 2 (Adjust by working time) when the checkbox is set. The option 1 (Print as is) is set by default.
The same is also applied on printing tasks no assigned to employees. In this case, AvailSuite adjusts the start time and the finish time of tasks using the working time settings of the company. Please note that AvailSuite does not change the start time and the finish time of the task, it just display corrected the start time and the finish time on printing only.
To change the number of pages used by AvailSuite on Calendar printing, use the Print pages per day/month field on the System Options form.
